Watching leaves turn,
Seeing the greens fade,
Mother Nature throws on her evening gown,
To dance with the wind for a time.

Subject: Desert Night. Mon Apr 15, 2013 9:11 am

Shadows slide across the moon.
the light caresses a desert dune.
Stars shine bright like fireflies.

The temperature drops as the sun dies.
It left in a fantastic spray of reddened gold,
That dying heat, the sand will hold,
Long until the night is old.

Animals slither across the ground,
Scale and fur and feather and down,
They travel while the sun isn't around.

very lovely it would look better and be less confusing if you posted each poem in a separate post
