| Pain As we grow older, we have those dull throbs, those unknown knobs, Globs and gobs of stuff that hurts We have sports and things we love to do that causes us hurts, Our temples throb and sometimes we sob into our pillow We judge a step wrong and run and pull it or strain it or have to drain it Oh, there are so many wraps and bandages and smelly ointments Then, oh then, we must inherit the pain of our kin and we pay for it You are not warned, if you hang in there, of being Atlas
Pain in living, pain in dying, pain in giving and pain in sighing, pain in failing, pain in trying, pain in falling, and pain in flying, pain inside you, pain outside, pain when I breathe, pain when I sit, pain when I shit, pain when I stand, back pain, elbow, toe and tooth, pain in my ass, pain in my hoof, pain in the finances, pain at the pump, a pain to recycle, pain to hump pain to get up, pain to bed no pain?
