Gift From Above

Young children we once were
Running here and there
Laughing and giggling as we played
You caught my eye but I was shy
Never saying a word, I just cried
We grew up and went our separate ways
Although never forgetting
Now fate has once again crossed our paths
We've shared laughter and some tears
With no worries near
You're always there for me, as I for you
You make things so beautiful
Its like a miracle for me.
My heart is able to feel once again
Beautiful thoughts begin to flow
Deep within my soul
Gently my love pours out of me
As a gentle touch
If you believe you can hear
