The Garden

There is a garden where nothing grows,
Not even a gentle thing such as a rose.
This garden is also the home of many a soul.
From the innocent children to the hearts black as coal.

Such as a boy named Tim, who was barely old enough to talk.
He had been sent to this home before he could walk.

And a girl named Gina, who was near graduating from school.
She too was sent here because of a car accident so cruel.

And a man named Roy, who had caught his wife cheating.
He couldn't bare to look at himself after the beating.
His wife now lives here next to the man who caused her bleeding.

Here also lives Johnny, A boy who fought a sickness in vain.
His journey here was made in tears and pain.

And there on top of the highest hill under the old oak tree,
Lay two teenagers, one boy and one girl, whose love all could see.
They went too far with their love and ended up here due to a disease.

The garden shares the feelings of those who live here.
Whose hearts now know nothing but fear.
This garden never grows and it's not too contrary.
Afterall, It is nestled in front of a cemetary.
