Angels

The angels above us with their wings so white
They guide us with gentle words
If we are sleeping at night
Or awake during the day
Not knowing what's around,
They hold our hand and guide us
They help us to stand our ground
The angels above us have beauty in their hearts
More radiant than the stories that have been told
Halos that shine beautiful and bright.
They shower us with their love
Angels are sent to us from heaven above
With peace in their hearts
Love to share
No matter if we are happy or sad.
We sometimes tend to forget they are there
But they angels above never do
With pure white wings and a loving heart
They give us hopes and joys for life
No matter if we slip and fall
They are always there to give a helping hand
They once again remind us of their love
And in the eyes of the angels,
We're wonderful.
And in my eyes you're an angel
