My Eyes

As a young child
not knowing very much
I looked at Christmas
as receiving gifts from St.Nick
Having turkey dinner with relatives
that talk tooo much
Not getting toys that I really wanted
As a mother learning
and experiencing life
I delight in knowing the true meaning of Christmas
A child was born to the Virgin Mary
His name is Jesus!
A gift to us from God himself
Merry Christmas
Amen!
