In these eyes of a young child
Walking down the street
Looking at everything insight
Trees that are bare
Birds that make noise
Pesky little children
People angry and unhappy
In their life they feel empty.
In the eyes of an adult
Walking down the street
Looking at everything,
but ever so differently
The beauty of each leaf
On that same tree
The beautiful songs of joy
From the birds up above
Children laughing
Enjoying life that is
People happy
With an inner peace
It's all because they have
The Lord Jesus Christ in their hearts
What a Wonderful thing to see
With these eyes
