Lost



Total eclipse, the darkness of night
Screaming souls searching for light
Lost in a void, the portal of humanity
Dark staring eyes showing insanity
Festering thoughts acidly burning
No going back, no returning
To civilization, land of living
Forever in limbo, the unforgiven
Timeless nomads that time passes by
Dying to live but living to die
Yet I survive, I ask myself why

A very good write. Deep expression of emotion. Good imagery, flow, rhyme and tone. Very nice rhythm. Good word choice, alliteration and nice assonance. Well penned. Rose
