Pain in my Heart


There you sit, alone and mad
Here I am, angry at myself.

Pain in my heart
Pain in my soul.

Why must life be this hard?
Dreams come and go so fast,
Fucking up everything around.

Pain in my heart
Pain in my soul.

Forgiveness is sought,
Mess ups are hopefully forgotten
Bank statements and overdrafts.

Pain in my heart
Pain in my soul.

Love never ends between us
bringing out the best in both,
mistakes are overlooked with care.

Pain in my heart
Pain in my soul.

I am sorry, my love.
I cannot say it any other way.
