I WRITE FOR YOU ALONE.

I write for you alone
In words more gentle than any lover’s sigh
Not from a drifting mind
But from an intensity of passion
Which is then calmed when sifted
Through clear thought’s reality

So is this love for you
And the words I write are for you alone…

You are no dark spirit
But a shining light which leads me on
That I see beyond curtains
And know your face in all its joy, its sensation
I feel the hand which stretches
Which reaches in…

Hand-Words…
Which reach beyond the haze, to draw me out
From behind that frozen place
Where rejection holds me prisoner
Blue Twinkle

I am free to write
My soft words for you alone
Not whispered, that you strain your ears
But in defiance of the dark
So my words are read with your eyes

And…
Knowing, are you aware
That the curtain can be drawn back
The darkness in lights’ blaze
As your eyes smile and the hand touches
Blue Twinkle

Know me well in love
Dream with me, so no hard earth
May be any landing place
Nor emotive sea drown us in a deeper sleep
Lay with me in a fine love
In a poet’s softest pillow
Where breath is never wasted, though words
Are written from the heart…
