I have moved several times trying to rid myself of certain demons from my past
Things and certain times, I want be from totally free
Certain demons, I myself have made peace with, but my others, will they forever last?
Will the ones I still have forever be with me?

Each time I move, I think maybe this time I might be free
But on nights in the dark when I am all alone, I know they are still here
Seems no matter where I am or where I go they always follow me
These demons, why do I let them fill me with such intense fear?

I try moving, anything I can think of to try and from them set myself free
But no matter what I do, those lingering demons, they are still there
I try to negotiate with the demons, but on deaf ears fall my please
But, they continue to hang on, possessing me and my hope for my life fee ,will my life ever be fair?

My life will never be normal as long as my demons are left to survive
I want to find a solution so of these demons I can forever be free
To be able to enjoy the incredible journey of life, for as long as I take breath, as long as I remain alive.
Wouldn't you want the same thing, with me wouldn't you agree?

My life is so unhappy, it will be, as long as these things hang around
My demons have been with me many years, by now I should be used to them
The demons they silently haunt me, because they never make or utter a sound
They make my life so gloomy, cloudy, and grim.

Advice you want to give me? Well, my friend seems I'm one more up than you
There us one small detail I forgot to share with you, see
I think now tell you so you understand what makes me so sad and blue
It is not my surrounding or where I live they want to haunt, see they literally only want to haunt one thing and that thing is me
