Smokey

In the memory of you.

Smokey was black

lab with a

spot of grey.

That is the

reason for the name.

My friend got

you when you

was only couple

months old.

When you were

five years old,

you got a nasty

infection in your

right back leg.

They had to

take it to save

your life.

You was my

friends dog but

in away you was

mine too.

Smokey you was

nine years old

but your infection

came back again

in the same spot.

This time we had

to let go

of you.

My friend will

miss you all

the time and

I will miss

hearing you bark

when I was

at the door.

Goodbye boy have fun

in the big dog

park in the sky.
