Samantha De

You have been

my best friend for so long.

I have lost count

on the year by now.

This summer you will

be gone a year

or possible longer.

You are going

to chase a dream

and you need a change.

You will be missed here.

It is going different

when you are gone.

Girl you are like

my little sister for

so long and now this summer

would the longest we

will be apart.

When you are

lonely just think

that you have

one friend that will

ready when you

come back.

So there is someone

that will be

your friend forever.

Take this poem with you

when you go

so you remember that

you have someone

with you when

you are lonely in

Japan this summer.

You have been my best friend for so long

it feels like a lifetime of friendship

and I would not

have any other way girl.
