Nature's Sellout

By Lori Triggs

Copyrighted August 26, 2009

A sprinkling of sunshine to sellout on the plants

While mother nature wrapped up in her shawl,

She is watching nature’s splendors around her...

It really is a paradise:

A paradise of mother nature

From earths dust on nature’s crust.

The dewy drops on mushroom caps

Are nothing less than mother nature tears,

From rolling laughter... it’s perhaps:

Mother nature with claps of thunder with lighting.

Orchestra Of Nature

My words of choice, let me paint for you, the rhythm of the summers night

with a special touch of nature, lightning flashing colors bright

There is a gentle breeze of wind, blowing through the dancing trees

creating the musical sound of nature, won't you stop and listen please

The crickets soon join in, with a squeaking rhythmic sound

now this concert can be heard, from the sky down to the ground

The flickering glowing stars, send their beautiful colored ...

Autumn is here, while the cold blankets the air,

the autumn leaves show their majestic yellows,

with oranges and outstanding browns.

They fall with mysteries of the weather changes,

while the wind becomes stronger,

The colors change on the plants

with flowers even trees blooms with color.

The autumn clouds roll in to blankets

in the skies with stillness and quiet,

the coolness in the mornings with the evenings

We live even love to worship the sun like god

The birds sing when the sun rises and the sun sets,

Without the sun it would be cold and darkness all the time.

We do not worship the clouds

When they can be white fluffs,

Or grey masses so called black clouds cause disaster or rain.

If it was not cloudy it would not cool the earth

It would not shower or showers to cause puddles,

Than after the shower or showers the ...

The oceans with lakes even rivers as the waters where aqua or

Places that have an indescribable appeal of some kind

The energy from these place a normal person just can't resist

This energy affects our very bodies in one way or another

All that experience this say they feel total tranquillity and peace

Most feel in total unison with the universe, making people feel like with the universe they are brothers

I always love hiking the trails of the Appallation Mountains of the Blue Ridge Parkway

The beauty here, Mother Nature had a field day adding her hand of nature here

This is such a beautiful place where together we can laugh, we can play

The only thing I'm afraid of here are snakes, they fill me with intense fear.

As we walk upon the trail, we run across a cool mountain stream

Being thirsty, we stop for a drink of the coolest clearest water upon this earth

A Last Leap

I stalk you stealthily, knowing

Soon your bones, I’ll be gnawing

When I tear through your skin, into your flesh

Its rawness and flavours, A taste I will relish

You’ve spotted me, there’s no use running

Coming after you, I’m fast fully gunning

Upwardly you leap, zig zag back and forth

But I will get you and you will feel my force

I’m at your side, you make a last leap

As I bound onto you, my teeth sink deep

I pull you down, onto this plain

Your head hidden, by ...

High in the Andes Mountains, a place of Incan mysticism and magic, simply known as Mancu Picchu

Here i stand in a place, the ancient Inca worshipped and lived, in safety, to them in this there was no doubt

Standing here I feel forces of the earth, as they surge through my body, where they come from I haven't a clue.

No one really knows, why the Inca choose this place that seems to sit atop the world

Shades Of Red

Standing all alone,staring straight ahead

Looking at the sunset, beautiful shades of red

The warmth that it sends you, the glow it is emitting

Makes you realize, that life is really worth living

The way it sweeps downwards, all over the land

Transforms it to picturesque, instead of looking bland

They say red sky at night, a shepherds delight

I say it's everyones, a wonderful sight

Ready to return to my house and shut my back door

One last glance upwards, ...

My Red Rose

My red rose stands so strong, shines beauty everywhere

I whisper to it gently, I treat it with great care

It's petals are so fragile, I water them each day

They open out so perfect, a wonderful display

I watch a bee land on it, move gently all about

I wish that I was that bee, sucking the nectar out

I cup my hand around it and sniff its scent so pure

I touch the silken petals, so soft and so demure

My red rose is perfect, not a petal out of place
