If I could be anything
What would I want to be
Maybe a kiss upon your lips
Or the sweet melody that you sing
Your sigh as it softly dies
All the tears you have cried

Or maybe all of your dreams
The hand that wipes the tears from your eyes
Air that you breathe
Or maybe the last thought before you go to sleep
One of your memories

A tear as it slowly dries
Upon your cheek
The wind as it blows through your hair
A whisper in your ear
Or the love you feel deep inside

But I guess most of all
I want to be wrapped in your arms
Your heart filled with love
The one to chase away
All of your tears
Holding you close as we face our fears

But I guess I’ll just be
